‘Glamor Red’ HTC One Will Make Its Debut In The U.K. Next Month
HTC has officially announced the “glamor red” HTC One, which will make its debut in the United Kingdom next month. aside from its fancy paint job, the handset is identical to the original One, with all the same internal specifications. It’ll also cost the same on contract.
The red HTC One wasn’t unveiled alongside the black and silver models back in February, but it did appear on HTC’s website for several days. The Taiwanese company then removed the image and kept quiet about the device, and we’ve been wondering what happened to it ever since.
This morning HTC has confirmed that it will finally go on sale in the U.K. in mid-July. Like its siblings, the red HTC One offers a 4.7-inch 1080p display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.
The One also offers HTC’s new 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera, and its dual front-facing BoomSound speakers, which are powered by Beats Audio technology.
Phones 4U has announced that it will be one of the first retailers to offer the red HTC One, and the device will be available for free on two-year contracts from £33 ($50) per month. That’s the same price as the black and silver models.
