The flagship HTC Smartphone was very well received and is doing quite well, it might be a good move from HTC to roll out a cheaper sibling, following the footsteps of Samsungwhich released Galaxy S4 Mini after its flagship phone Galaxy S4. A German site claimed that, O2 the fourth largest carrier in the country, will make the device available for sale starting with August 3.
HTC One had the code name HTC M7 and this gives us enough clues that the HTC M4 we are hearing about so much can actually be the HTC One Mini. Along with A smaller touch screen display, the Mini should also have much lower specs than the HTC One.
Expected hardware specifications include a 4.3-inch 720p display, and dual-core processor at least, a similar UltraPixel camera, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and Sense 5 UI. The HTC One has garnered lot of respect for its aluminum construction and people who find the original HTC One too costly, can still get a piece of the good looking design in the more affordable Mini.
If we are indeed looking at an early August release of the device, we should expect an official announcement from HTC at the end of this month.
